Genoa - May 16, 2017 - ASG Superconductors announces that Sergio Frattini is the new CEO of ASG Superconductors. The Malacalza family company based in Genoa with 4 plants in Liguria and about 250 employees is active in the field of superconducting magnets for research, nuclear fusion, medical and energy. Frattini, 48 years old, with experience in the industrial sector, in Italy and abroad, has also been appointed Managing Director of the subsidiaries Columbus Superconductors, that produces an innovative MgB2 superconductive wire, and Paramed, that produces innovative magnetic resonance systems using magnets produced by ASG.
