Multifilamentary superconducting tape for MRI magnets

MRO tape is the first industrial-scale developed product at Columbus MgB2 Wire Unit, with more than 10 years of studies and improvements. This 6:1 axpect ratio tape is primary used for the 0,5T MRI systems or similar field MRI.
Thanks to its shape, the wire is suitable for coil winding and withstands high bending.
The powder and the wire architecture are designed and optimized for the MRI magnets and system, in order to guarantee high stability and performances at the required fields.
