MGB2 for plastic waste treat
21/08/2007
The kick-off meeting of the project ‘Innovative Magnetic Density Separation for the optimal use of resources and energy’ dedicated to the demonstration of cryogenic-free superconducting magnets for plastic waste treatment and recycle has been held at the University of Twente (NL) on June 21st. The project is funded by NWO - the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research - and brings together many active players in all the fields going from superconductivity and cryogenics to waste treatment. Columbus will supply its MgB2 wire technology to the project.
