MROpen at University of British Columbia in Vancouver

Paramed has started a scientific partnership with the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, where the truly open and cryogen free upright MRI, the MROpen, has been installed at the Center for Hip Health and Mobility, a point of reference worldwide for the study of Hip pathologies. Thanks to MROpen’s unique capability of performing upright MRI scans in the sitting and standing position, the Centre will conduct advanced investigations on Hip pathologies involving both weight bearing and other functional scans such as dynamic studies of the joints.
