PF6 cold tested at temperatures similar to Pluto

Due to their large sizes, i.e. 17 and 24 m diameter, four of the six PF coils are manufactured on-site, at the end of January, the sixth poloidal field coil left the factory and was put into storage until assembly. It was manufactured jointly by F4E and ASIPP (China). Then, it was cold-tested at 80 K by ASG and F4E. A temperature similar to Pluto - the furthest and smallest planet in our Solar system. Together with Fusion for Energy and the other companies, we continue to work every day for fusion energy.
