Mgb2 superconducting technology will make research experiments and energy transmission more efficient and sustainable
05/07/2024
Interesting news for the world of high energy physics experiments that require the use of superconducting magnets: thanks to the innovation based on MgB2 wire materials, in the near future it will become possible to conduct more advanced research and to develop energy-efficient devices. Furthermore, our MgB2 wires can be used, and are already in operation at CERN, to transmit energy without losses, and they will contribute proactively to the green energy deal, which will have to be based not only on renewable energy sources but also on minimizing energy losses.
