News Unveiled one of Europe's most powerful high-temperature superconducting magnets.

Together with INFN's Lasa group, ASG Superconductors has
built one of Europe's most powerful high-temperature superconducting magnets —
unveiled last week at ASC 2026 in Pittsburgh.
Lower operating temperatures, less energy needed, more efficient than
traditional systems: this REBCO-based magnet (5+ tesla, 1 megajoule) points
toward a future where fusion power plants and research infrastructure can run
cleaner leaner and greener.
Built in the same Genoa plant that has supplied magnets for CERN, ITER and
Fermilab — proud to keep pushing what Italian engineering can do.
